Jerusalem

Jerusalem is Israel‘s capital and largest city both in population and area, with a population of approximately 750,000 and an area totaling 123 km² .
Located in the Judean Mountains between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea, at an altitude of 800 meters, Jerusalem is considered a holy city for three major religions - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Jerusalem has been the holiest city in Judaism and the spiritual homeland of the Jewish people since the 10th century BCE. Jerusalem is considered the third-holiest city for moslems and it contains the holiest sites of Christianity.
