Nazareth

Nazareth of the Annunciation is the largest Arab city in Israel with a population of 75,000 - one third Christians and the rest Moslems. According to the New Testament the Annunciation of the birth of Jesus by the Angle Gabriel took place in Nazareth. Joseph and Mary lived here after their betrothal and it was here that Jesus spent most of his life.
