Yad Vashem

The Holocaust Memorial. Yad Vashem is Israel's national memorial to the martyrs and heroes of the Holocaust. It was founded in 1953 to commemorate the 6 million Jews murdered by the Nazis. Yad Vashem is on the Mount of Remembrance, in the western part of Jerusalem. It was rebuilt and enlarged in recent years in a most impressive way. Back
